Kansas City Outlaws pick 3 riders in the 2024 PBR Teams New Rider Draft

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – At the 2024 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Teams New Rider Draft on Wednesday evening in Nashville, Tennessee, the Kansas City Outlaws made pivotal selections to strengthen their roster for the upcoming season. With an eye for both talent and potential, the Outlaws secured top-tier riders, setting the stage for an exciting year.

The Outlaws' first pick came at No. 4 overall, where they selected Maikon Calixto Rocha from Orindiúva, Brazil. Assistant Coach and 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme Marchi expressed confidence in Rocha’s abilities, drawing parallels to the newly crowned 2024 PBR World Champion Cassio Dias. Rocha is expected to bring dynamism and resilience to the team, promising a thrilling addition to the Outlaws’ lineup.

Kansas City also held the No. 8 overall pick, which they used to draft Brennon Eldred from Sulphur, Oklahoma. Eldred, a three-time PBR World Finals qualifier, brings experience and tenacity, further bolstering the team's competitive edge.

In the second round, the Outlaws picked Heitor Goiano from Goiatuba, Brazil, at No. 18 overall. Goiano’s track record indicates a promising future, and his addition will add depth to the Outlaws’ roster.

The Kansas City Outlaws are looking forward to a powerful season, leveraging their new talents to aim for the championship. With these key additions, the team is poised to deliver exhilarating performances and make a significant impact in the 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series.

The 2024 PBR Camping World Team Series will hold 12 regular-season events, including 10 team-hosted homestands and two neutral site events.

The expanded season, set to begin on July 12-14 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, will conclude with a reformatted four-day, progressive elimination Championship tournament in Las Vegas. Two teams will now need to ride their way into the title-deciding PBR Teams Championship at T-Mobile Arena from October 18-20 and two will go home when the four lowest-ranked teams (No. 7 to No. 10) face off at South Point Hotel & Casino in the one-day Ride-In Round on October 17.
