Koltin Hevalow Rises In Mvp Standings As Kansas City Outlaws Conclude Cowboy Days In Greensboro
Outlaws ride 7 of 15 bulls but run into high-scoring teams in Carolina
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Koltin Hevalow, an up-and-coming 24-year-old cowboy, rode two of three bulls on the weekend, rising to sixth in the MVP Standings with 1,100.75 points after Cowboy Days, the eighth stop in the 12-event 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series regular season.
Hevalow has tamed 13 of his 23 bovine competitors for a riding percentage of 56.52%, continuing to improve each weekend.
Coming off a 3-for-3 weekend in Anaheim, Heitor Santos Ferreira continued to show strong, also riding two of three bulls this weekend. With 12 qualified rides, he’s currently 10th in the MVP Standings with 1,029.25 points.
The injury-stricken Kansas City Outlaws own a 8-15 record and sit seventh in the standings while looking to swing the pendulum in New York this week, September 18-20. Despite going 7-for15 on the weekend, Kansas City ran into three high-scoring teams and fell over the weekend to the Oklahoma Wildcatters (8-15), New York Mavericks (5-18), and the Nashville Stampede (7-16).
Kansas City couldn’t catch Oklahoma Friday night despite a late three-ride comeback. Kansas City’s three straight rides by Eric Henrique Domingos (87.75 on UTZ BesTex Smokestack), Julio Cesar Marques (76 on Coal Train), and Heitor Santos Ferreira (87 on Home Slice) weren’t enough in the late comeback.
Saturday night, the New York Mavericks barely defeated the Outlaws 173.5-170.25. New York opened the game hot with rides by Mauricio Gulla Moreira (88 on Bomb Diggity) and Leonardo Castro (85.5 on Raider) for an early two-ride lead over Kansas City. Koltin Hevalow cut into the lead with 84 points on Peterbilt on a re-ride attempt to keep the Outlaws within reach. A late ride by Heitor Santos Ferreira for 86.25 points on Soul Man wasn’t enough as the Mavericks took home the win to build some momentum ahead of next weekend’s homestand.
Falling behind after two rides, the Nashville Stampede had a late comeback to defeat the Kansas City Outlaws 256.25-174.25 to close out Cowboy Days Sunday afternoon. Kansas City held a 174.25-0 lead ahead of Pablo Soares’ ride on Foolish Pride for 83 points. Rogério Venâncio continued to close the gap with 86.25 on Peanut, setting the stage for the winning ride by Cody Jesus for 87 points on Muddy Jake.
Outlaw Days presented by LP Solutions the crucial penultimate weekend of the 12-event 2025 PBR Teams regular season, continues to edge closer, set for October 3-5. Over the three-day event Kansas City will host all 10 teams in the league in five-on-five games showcasing the best bull riders and rankest bulls in the world at T-Mobile Center.
