KOLTIN HEVALOW OWNS TWO-RIDE WEEKEND, REMAINS SIXTH IN MVP RACE
Rising Star Rides Four of Last Five Bulls
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Koltin Hevalow, a 22-year-old rising star of the Kansas City Outlaws, earned two qualified rides at Mavericks Days in Belmont Park, New York over the weekend to hold strong at sixth in the MVP standings with three events remaining in the 2025 PBR Camping World Series regular season.
Hevalow has earned 1,270.50 points with 15 qualified rides while taking 26 outs. Ahead of Saturday night’s ride, he had a four-ride streak, tying the longest of his career in a single season. Outlaws’ teammate Heitor Santos Ferreira sits behind him at 12th in the race with 1,029.25 points, riding 12 bulls on the season.
Kansas City (9-17) concluded the weekend in New York with a 1-2 record, defeating the No. 3, 17-9 Arizona Ridge Riders while falling to the Austin Gamblers (18-8) and Missouri Thunder (11-15).
Hevalow claimed the lone ride Friday night for the Outlaws in a 338.5-84.5 loss to Austin, staying on Big X the full eight for 84.5 points. The Gamblers earned four rides to outride the Outlaws 4-1 Thursday night.
Kansas City snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 169.5-84 upset victory over the Arizona Ridge Riders Friday night. Hevalow earned the first ride of the night on Hoka Hey for 85.25 points to put the Outlaws up early, followed by an 84-point ride by Arizona’s Eduardo Aparecido. Pablo Soares, a new acquisition for the Outlaws heading into the Big Apple, put an end to the losing streak with 84.25 against Sqealin’ Kitty.
The Thunder recorded a 171-87.75 victory over the Outlaws in Saturday’s meeting to round out Maverick Days. Missouri earned a 2-1 lead in the Show Me State Showdown rivalry while improving to 11-15 on the season. Dalton Krantz provided the Outlaws’ lone conversion via a game-high 87.75-point qualified ride.
Outlaw Days, the crucial penultimate weekend of the 12-event 2025 PBR Teams regular season, continues to edge closer, set for October 3-5. Over the three-day event Kansas City will host all 10 teams in the league in five-on-five games showcasing the best bull riders and rankest bulls in the world at T-Mobile Center.
