Kansas City Outlaws Sit Tight At Fifth In Pbr Camping World Team Series After Thunder Days, Outlaw Days in Kansas City Set for October 3-5

After three days of action in Springfield, Missouri, the Kansas City Outlaws (8-9) earned a win over one of the hottest teams in the league, the Florida Freedom (12-5), on Saturday night. Kansas City fell to the Nashville Stampede (6-11) and Missouri Thunder (7-10) Friday and Sunday respectively.

Koltin Hevalow continues to lead the way for Kansas City in the MVP race, sitting ninth with 844.5 points earned through 10 rides. Hevalow and teammate Heitor Santos Ferreira (17th, 593.25 points) each rode a bull on the weekend to stay in the top 20.

Nashville rode three bulls Friday night in a win over Kansas City, 256.75-84, to open up Thunder Days, winning their second game in a row. Nashville’s Austin Richardson set the tone of the game with 90.75 points on Constant Payne, the first of three 90+ point rides on the night. Anderson de Oliveira delivered next with 81 points against Frank followed by Gustavo Luiz da Silva with 85 on Lost In The Sauce. Koltin Hevalow, the only Outlaw to last eight on his opponent, rode Sour Patch for 84 points.

Saturday night, the Outlaws improved to an even 8-8 on the season, defeating the Florida Freedom 87.25-85.75 to end the latter’s five-game win streak. João Lucas Campos’ early 85.75-point ride gave the Freedom an advantage before the Outlaws’ Julio Cesar Marques rode Ceasar for 87.25. In a game full of buck offs and re-rides, those were the only two scores that stood in the end as the Outlaws upset one of the league’s hottest teams.

On Sunday, both the Missouri Thunder (7-10) and Outlaws rode one bull during the in-state rivalry, but Missouri’s lone score was higher, and they took the win. Paulo Eduardo Rossetto lasted eight aboard Mystified for 85.5 while the Outlaws’ Heitor Santos Ferreira earned 81 on Snappy in a losing cause.

Outlaw Days presented by LP Solutions continues to edge closer with the new dates set to October 3-5.
