Kansas City Closes Out Rattler Days, Head Toward Outlaw Days – a Crucial Penultimate Regular Season Weekend in the 2025 Campaign

Four Riders Earn Rides on the Weekend, Alison dos Santos Rides First Bull as Outlaw

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Outlaws will come home to Kansas City for the first time this season and fourth time in the team’s history this weekend for three action-packed days beginning Friday, October 3-5.

The No. 7 Outlaws currently sit above the cutline for the three-way play-in game to enter the Championship tournament in Las Vegas, looking for a strong performance on home dirt to avoid that dangerous game in their 2025 PBR Camping World Team Series title hopes.

The Outlaws (10-19) walked off the Oklahoma Wildcatters (10-19) during Rattler Days with Natanael Serra Aires earning his first major ride on Smooth Violation over the past weekend in Fort Worth while falling to the No. 1 Florida Freedom (22-7) and No. 4 Texas Rattlers (19-10).

Koltin Hevalow continues to remain in the Top 10 in the MVP Race after the weekend, residing in seventh with 1,270.5 points after 15 qualified rides in 28 outs. Heitor Santos Ferreira sits just behind the Top 10 in 11th, having tallied 1,114 points with 13 rides on the season.

Outlaw Days, the crucial penultimate weekend of the 12-event 2025 PBR Teams regular season takes place this weekend. Over the three-day event Kansas City will host all 10 teams in the league in five-on-five games showcasing the best bull riders and rankest bulls in the world at T-Mobile Center. Tickets are available on PBR.com, kansascityoutlaws.com, axs.com, the T-Mobile Center Box Office, or by calling PBR customer service at (800) 732-1727.

For the fourth straight year, the team will host the Kansas City Outlaw Days Festival Presented by LP Solutions at KC Live! in the Power & Light District, delivering two days of festival activities and fun alongside three thrilling nights of the most intense 8 seconds in sports.

The festival is highlighted by a pep rally every day, meet and greet opportunities, live entertainment by Lorna Kay and BIAS, and appearances by West Wilson and Creed Humphrey.

Game Recaps

The No. 1 Florida Freedom earned a 352.5-172.25 win over the Kansas City Outlaws Friday despite a valiant two-bull effort by the Outlaws. Eric Henrique Domingos bested Tchoupitoulas for 87.5 points to get the Outlaws withing striking distance. Later, in the fifth out, his teammate Heitor Santos Ferreira rode eight on Peanut for 84.75 points, but the four-ride showing by the Freedom was too much to overcome.

The Outlaws breathed some life into their postseason push Saturday night courtesy of a tight 86.5-82.75 victory against the Oklahoma Wildcatters. JaCauy Hale drew first blood via an 82.75-pointer early, but it was the Outlaws’ Natanael Serra Aires’ late-game conversion which made the ultimate difference in the two-ride contest. Both teams remain in a three-way tie with the Nashville Stampede with Kansas City owning the tiebreaker with 4,537.25 points this season.

Kansas City fell to the Texas Rattlers as the latter won its home stand finale 89.25-82 Sunday. Both teams faced a rank lineup of bulls, each mustering only one ride. In the end, it was Daniel Keeping’s 89.25-point ride on Oyster Creek Brawler that beat Alison dos Santos’ 82 against Smokey. Santos’ ride was his first with the Outlaws after joining the team earlier in the week via trade with the New York Mavericks.

Next up for the Outlaws in Kansas City:

  • Carolina Cowboys (Oct. 3)
  • Missouri Thunder (Oct. 4)
  • Texas Rattlers (Oct. 5)
